Jeonghyo Hwang
Hi, my name is Jeonghyo, I am a dog trainer from Sydney, Australia.
I have worked at a few global banks before I became a dog trainer. I have always loved animals since I was a kid, especially dogs, however I never really understood them. I then found dog behaviours interesting more and more, and started to have an obsession with it. So I took the course in Dog Behaviour and Training at NDTF (National Dog Trainers Federation). I approached dog training as my hobby until I found this is what I am truly passionate about. I then left my comfortable 9 to 5 job, and took it as my new career. Since then I had opportunity to meet and handle various types of dogs through pet sitting, dog walking, handling dogs in daycare and kennel facilities as well as private and group lessons.
My training is all about making dogs enjoy difficulties in life. If you believe there's always a light at the end of the tunnel, you can be optimistic and overcome hardships no matter what. So can dogs. My passion is to help people to help their own dogs have this mindset through training.
As a dog trainer, I believe in continuous improvement and recently got certified as NePoPo® Gold trainer, and am happy to share my skills and knowledge people who need it. I'm so lucky that I do what I love and really happy to watch people achieving their goals with dogs. Dogs are animals that live in the present moments, and I am dedicated to motivate you to be the same, enjoy their presence, and fall in love with them through our training, and have a good rapport in your relationship.

my dog, daffy
This is my dog, Daffy, I first met her when she was just 3 weeks old, from the very first moment I knew she would become my forever heart dog. We've spent every moment together ever since I picked her up and she became part of my family.
She's a French Brittany aka Epagneul Breton. She's soft and sensitive, but energetic and independent. She's an athlete by day, and a couch potato by night who loves kisses and cuddles. We do obedience training, scentwork, tracking, play, hike, and everything else in life with each other, and she enjoys her best life.
Daffy helps me from demonstrating the way I train to helping puppies gain confidence, and showing shy and nervous dogs there's no reason to be.
I can't imagine a single day without her, and I'm very proud of myself giving her a thriving life, not just a survival.
